Macy’s Santaland is an annual tradition at the flagship Macy’s store, and within a 13,000 square foot space you can see the train, reindeer, elves, trees, and of course Macy’s Santa in all his Christmas finery.
This year, the trip to the North Pole, and all the Christmas events, officially start on Friday 29 November.
To be able to see Santa you must have a reservation in advance. All bookings open 5 days before the desired date of visit (ie the first bookings start on 24 November).
You should know that the reservation is free and ensures your presence in the queue at a specific time and not your visit to Santa. You should arm yourself with enough patience, since the crowd is big.
While admission to Macy’s Santaland is free for guests, commemorative photos with Macy’s Santa are available for purchase. The purchase is not mandatory and you can use your camera or mobile phone to capture the moment.
