The 30-foot-tall Fox Square Christmas Tree was decorated with red, white and blue lights and ornaments to represent the colors of the US flag.
The tree was surrounded by large Nutcrackers as well as Nutcrackers standing in red, white and blue wrapped gift boxes ranging from 2 to 9 feet tall.
Fox News reported that about 20,000 visitors watched the Fox Square Christmas Tree lighting in early December, and judging by the smiling faces, it was a happy event for all.
FOX’s All-American Christmas tree stands at 50 feet tall and will be decorated with 12,000 ornaments and 340,000 lights. The tree has 500 branches, a star topper that is over six feet tall, and more than four miles of cord wrapped throughout. Made by the iconic holiday lighting and display company American Christmas in Mt. Vernon, NY, the tree will feature a patriotic theme of red, white, and blue decorations.
